This 16-hour course includes lecture and practical in flat water, CPR, and first aid training. Topics covered include: ocean safety, SUP Etiquette, Boating safety, rip currents, rescue techniques, emergency action plans, and more. This fun yet challenging course will provide SUP instructors with the tools to recognize hazards, minimize risks for their students, safely manage student groups in a flat water environment, and to act decisively in an emergency situation.

Stand up paddleboard Instructor Training is an awareness level course designed to prepare the SUP instructor for the challenges of safely managing a group of students in a flat water environment.
